Tito Romalio Jr. (full name Efalio Tito Jose Romalio) was born in Jonava, Lithuanian SSR, USSR. His father, Tito Romalio Sr., was a well-known pop artist of Brazilian descent in the 1950s and 1960s (he starred in the films "The Adventures of Artyomka," "The Path of Thunder," "Black Sun," and "The Chief of Chukotka"). On the advice of director Mark Donskoy, in whose film "Hello, Children!" Tito co-starred with his brother Lol, in 1962 he entered the Vaganova Leningrad Academic Choreographic School, graduating in 1970 (specializing in choreography).
