Todd Waring is an American actor born in Ballston Spa, New York, who is widely known for stepping into roles originally played by Tom Hanks—specifically starring as David Basner in the television series adaptation of Nothing in Common and as Allen Bauer in the sequel film Splash, Too. He also portrayed Robert F. Kennedy in the television miniseries Sinatra.
