Mario Pilar (born 7 September 1927 in Grenoble) is a French actor whose career spans from the 1950s to the 1980s. He began working in film at a very young age and soon became a familiar face in supporting roles, often associated with henchmen, crooks, or other striking characters thanks to his very distinctive appearance.
He appears in numerous crime and adventure films, as well as in several European co‑productions, particularly Italian ones. He can also be seen in popular productions with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill, in which he regularly portrays bandits or accomplices.
