Biography

Pablo Pajarito Fajardo is a master potter from Tonalá, Jalisco, and belongs to a family that has been dedicated to working with clay for five generations. His tradition has its roots in El Rosario, one of Tonalá’s communities where barro canelo pottery has been passed down from generation to generation.

The son of master potter Nicasio Pajarito, Pablo learned the craft within his own family and developed his work around barro canelo, a technique characteristic of the region. Throughout his career, he has sought to preserve this tradition while developing his own identity through his pieces, using natural pigments and clays from the region.
