As a Mexico City ́s survivor PORTES has developed an unique style with a dark sense of humor, with unforgettable characters who live on the edge of horror and comedy films. In 2025 his 6th film DON’T LEAVE THE KIDS ALONE premiered at the 54th Rotterdam Film Festival and awarded at Film Festivals as Macabro, Fertaum, Fantasmagoria, Grimmfest, Brooklyn Horror, ScreamFest L.A. ScreamFest New Orleans, Sitges 2025. And in Gerardmer and Fantsporto 2026 too.
