Nix Vergara

Biography

Nix Vergara is a QC based multidisciplinary artist. She is a filmmaker, an actress, a visual artist, and a writer. She is currently establishing her own production house (Sineninix.) with several films she directed, To Immaculate Whore (2025), Sa Lambong ng Lumot Nagtago si Kaka (2025), and Where The Cave Ends (2026). Her short experimental film Manila Behind the City Lights (2024) was selected to screen for Pugnant Film Series in Greece in 2025. Her film Where The Cave Ends (2026) was a finalist for Sinepiyu XVIII: DIWA "Mula sa Lente ng Katauhan". She won the Best Actress award for 20th Mise-En-Scene Film Festival University of the Assumption for her performance in When the Credits Finally...
