Luka Strazar, born October 5, 1988, is a Slovenian mountaineer.
Luka went on to study geography at the University of Ljubljana. He began climbing with his father and eventually became an IFMGA mountain guide. He is considered one of the best of his generation. Originally from Slovenia, he distinguished himself with a technical and committed approach to mountaineering, favoring the alpine style and light ascents. A IFMGA mountain guide, he has completed more than ten high-altitude expeditions and received several major awards, including two Piolets d'Or, which recognize exceptional alpine ascents.
