Muraya Moore is a Brisbane-based writer/director passionate about exploring the diverse and intricate lives of women, navigating complex topics with a gentle hand and her bold style. Intertwining elements of horror and thriller into stories of girlhood, her work continues to push the boundaries in style and subject.

Her short film ‘Blood Sisters’ premiered at SXSW Sydney in 2024 and went on to screen at the St Kilda Film Festival, Brisbane International Film Festival and the Byron Bay Film Festival, where she was nominated for Young Australian Filmmaker of the Year.
