Biography
Josu Martín-Romero Petite (Bilbao, 2003) is a hispanic philologist, director and screenwriter. His work is shaped by an early interest in cinema and literature, with a focus on intimate narratives and everyday situations.
He began his filmmaking path with the experimental animated short film 6W (2023), followed by El Papel (2023). In 2024, he directed Esperanza H., which received international minor awards and selections at small national and international festivals, and later Desconocida Leyendo En Un Autobús (2024). In 2025, he completed Mucho de Nada, a formally driven short centered on observation and atmosphere.
