Antonio C. “Tony” Garcia

Biography

Antonio C. “Tony” Garcia (1925 – August 18, 2005) was an American Army soldier and World War II veteran who served with Easy Company, 2nd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment, 101st Airborne Division. A Technician Fifth Grade, he joined Easy Company as a replacement and served in the European Theater during the later stages of the war.

Garcia was among the replacement soldiers who joined Easy Company after the Normandy campaign. He served with the company during Operation Market Garden and the Battle of the Bulge, and remained with the unit through its advance into Germany and the end of the war.
