Lucy Wilkins

Biography

As a first-gen, low-income writer-director from a farm town in Northern England, Lucy chose a different path by becoming a Sutton Trust-Fulbright Scholar at Yale. From helping her illiterate grandparents on fairgrounds to now having her writing recognized; Lucy writes about naughty disruptors who embrace the chaos.

Lucy got her MFA in Screenwriting from the John Wells Writing for Screen and Television program at USC. Her work has been recognized by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association and Oakie Comedy scholarships, at the Austin Film Festival, at the academy-qualifying Flickers Rhode Island International Film Festival, and placed on the Golden List for the top 15 unproduced features of 2...
