Born on January 27, 1937. He appeared in films as a child actor from a young age, and in 1955, during the early days of television, he joined Radio Tokyo Television (now TBS) as an actor. While appearing in various dramas, he later shifted to work primarily in voice acting, serving as a personality (DJ) for various commercial radio stations (including FM stations).
