Anmol Sidhu is an Indian filmmaker and screenwriter from Kauloke, a village in the Bathinda district of Punjab, India. He is recognized for his socially conscious independent Punjabi cinema, with films that explore themes such as toxic masculinity, sexual repression, identity, patriarchy, and the complexities of rural life.

Raised in a remote farming village, Sidhu developed an early passion for storytelling, theatre, and the arts while studying at a local government school. His rural upbringing continues to shape his distinctive cinematic voice, which combines intimate character studies with nuanced social commentary.¯
