A Nome hometown hero, Shawn grew up in Nome working alongside his father Steve, to build up the Pomrenke name. Starting from humble beginnings, the Pomrenkes and the Christine Rose have built themselves into one of the premiere mining dynasties in Nome. With a natural ability to find and follow gold, Shawn’s responsible for thousands of ounces being recovered from the floor of the Bering Sea and has become a leader and innovator in the industry.
