Giuliano Robert is a Brazilian Deaf filmmaker. Born in Curitiba, Paraná, he is one of the pioneers of Deaf presence in Brazilian audiovisual media. His works have been screened at more than 400 festivals in Brazil and abroad. He holds a degree in Photography from Centro Europeu and is a photographer for the Deaf Theater Showcase at the Curitiba Festival. He directed the short films “The Search of Self and Silence,” “Rapper Hands: The Signed Harmony of Deaf Hip Hop,” and “Which Language Do You Laugh In?”.
