Gabriela Nápoles

Biography

Gabriela Nápoles is a Mexican filmmaker, cinematographer, documentary director, editor and photographer based in Mexico City. She has worked in film, documentary and visual storytelling since 2006, collaborating on fiction, nonfiction and experimental projects.

She is the founder of Dragón Estudios de Cine, a production, exhibition and film education initiative, and has also worked as a cinematographer and editor on independent documentaries and films. Her work has addressed subjects including gender, identity, territory, environment, childhood, human rights and social change.
