Biography

Keelan Williams is a documentary director, producer and editor whose work explores the intersection of art, identity and place. His debut feature, Tell Them We Were Here, a portrait of the Bay Area art scene, won Best Documentary Feature at the Nevada City Film Festival and earned the San Francisco Chronicle's highest rating. His latest, Paving the Way, follows Indigenous skateboarders on Montana's Flathead Indian Reservation, features original music by Pearl Jam's Jeff Ament, and was an official selection at Tribeca festival in 2026.
