Laura O'Shea

Biography

Laura O' Shea is a director based in Dublin, Ireland. Most recently, she was Director of the RTÉ Storyland Drama ‘I’m Yours’, for Deadpan Pictures. Prior to that, she was the Shadow Director on Hidden Assets S2, where she also directed the Second Unit. Her IFTA-Nominated short film 'Wednesday's Child', won the Oscar-Qualifying Tiernan McBride Award for 'Best Short Drama' at the 34th Galway Film Fleadh, making her the first female director to receive the honor in over 20 years. She was also the winner of the prestigious Discovery Award at the 2023 Dublin International Film Festival.
