Biography

Gianni Canova is one of Italy's most important and famous film critics. He's known for creating and directing film magazines like "Duel" and "Duellanti". He wrote cinema essays for a number of journals like Rolling Stone, Vogue, Segnocinema, Corriere della Sera, La Voce, Il Sole 24 Ore. He worked in television on MTV, Telepiù, Netsystem, My-TV and he's a TV host for Sky Cinema. Meanwhile he's a professor of cinema at IULM University both in the bachelor's degrees and the master's degrees, since 2018 he's also the dean of the university.
