Melanie began performing during childhood by studying dance, voice, various forms of acting, and going on auditions in elementary school. After years of acting in town and high school plays, Melanie ventured off into work in television and film. in 2018, she booked an NYU Tisch student film and got to play her dream role, Bianca Stratford from 10 Things I Hate About You, in a mock scene exercise.
