Thomas Trichet

Biography

Born in 1994, Thomas Trichet grew up in Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, a suburb of Paris. After studying art at ENSAAMA and the École des Arts Décoratifs in Paris, he directed his first short film, The Sun City Taxi, in 2019. The film, selected for several festivals, was broadcast on the French TV channel Arte and won the CNC Quality Prize. He develops a multidisciplinary artistic practice, working on both live-action and animated films, whether fiction or documentary. In 2020, he co-founded the artistic collective JTM with Martin Maire and Théo Jollet, as well as the production company of the same name. Together, they have collaborated on several films (Le Boug Doug, L’Odyssée des Minéraux, Brasero...
