Sam Bird, born on January 9, 1987, in Roehampton, England, is a British racing driver known for his success in endurance racing and Formula E. Bird began his motorsport career in karting and progressed through single-seater ranks, competing in categories like Formula BMW, Formula 3, and GP2, where he showcased his talent with numerous podiums and victories.

In 2014, Bird joined the inaugural season of Formula E with Virgin Racing (now Envision Racing), quickly becoming one of the series’ top drivers with multiple race wins.
