Biography

Lisbon, 1979. Graduated in Media Studies, with a specialization in Communication and Culture, by the New University of Lisbon. In 2000, with the Erasmus program, she studied at the Université Saint Dennis/Vincennes, Paris, where she made Voix Humaine (20’). Returning to Lisbon, she directed Tomorrow is today plus the sunflowers (24’) and the documentary Big-house (8’). In 2007, with Mathilde Neves, she directed rises, thickens, shreds, falls (33’). In 2007 she took a film directing course by the dffb (Deutsche Film- und Fernsehakademie Berlin) at the Gulbenkian Foundation and made the short Luís and the garden left behind (9’).
