Biography

Marianne Hougen-Moraga is an award-winning documentary film director. Her first feature film Songs of Repression, which she directed together with her partner in both her private and professional life, Estephan Wagner, won the DOX:AWARD at CPH:DOX 2020 and has since then traveled the world and been awarded prizes widely.

Marianne has worked in the documentary industry since 2005 and has freelanced on various productions in Denmark, the UK, Middle East, and South America alongside with directing her own documentaries.
