Nikos Armaos

Biography

Nikos Armaos was born in Athens. He studied at the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki. He worked as an actor in companies in Athens and Thessaloniki. He taught acting at the School of the State Conservatory of Thessaloniki and at the School of the National Theatre as well as directing at the theatre department of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. One of the founders in 1978 of the "Theatre Guild", he founded in 1982 the "International Theatre Meeting" in Athens (Annual International Theatre Festival, "Averof" Theatre).
