Nico Pelamonia

Biography

Born in Ambon. Education: Completed SLA entering ATNI in 1962, Upgrading for Film and TV Directing in West Germany (1969-1970). His father wanted him to become a priestess field, but Nico was more interested in art. When he was still studying at ATNI, he was already actively participating in performances. Then worked at TVRI as a director. While being a TV person, in 1963 Nico stepped into the world of film as an extra in Behind the Clouds, by Fred Young. 1965, Capt. Harun Rasidi and his wife, Tuti Mutia, were actively involved in their company Pertisa Film which later became Tuti Mutia Film Production.
