Juan Cáceres

Biography

Juan Cáceres is a Chilean director, screenwriter and editor who studied at the University of Chile. His films explore urban peripheries through a cinema deeply rooted in place and community, where realism intersects with popular culture and improvisation becomes part of the creative process. His debut feature, Perro Bomba (2019), screened and received awards at more than 40 international film festivals.
