Himjyoti Talukdar, born in Biswanath Chariali, Assam, is an MBA by training who discovered a profound passion for cinema, shaping a distinctive path in filmmaking. He began his career in 2016 as the scriptwriter for the children’s film Marksheet, laying the groundwork for his directorial journey. In 2018, he made his directorial debut with the Assamese feature Calendar, which received critical acclaim for its engaging narrative.
