Venkatesh Maha

Biography

Venkatesh Maha is an Indian film director, screenwriter, and actor who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. He made his directorial debut with the independent drama *C/o Kancharapalem* (2018), earning nominations for Best Director at the Filmfare Awards South and SIIMA. He subsequently directed *Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya* (2020) and helmed an episode of the streaming anthology series *Modern Love Hyderabad* (2022). In 2026, he wrote, directed, and edited the psychological dark comedy-drama *Rao Bahadur*.
