Biography

Vrasidas Charalambides (Greek: Βρασίδας Χαραλαμπίδης, Alexandria, Egypt, 26 August 1943 - Athens, 29 May 2022) artistically known as Dakis (Greek: Δάκης), was a Greek singer.

In 1968 he recorded his first album in Greek entitled "Hello, thank you" with composer Kostas Xenakis and immediately followed by his first collaboration with Mimis Plessas and the timeless hits "So Many Summers" and "That Morning in Kifissia" where the audience's response quickly placed him among the most sought-after performers of that era.

He collaborated with Greek composers such as: Mimis Plessas, Yannis Spanos, George Katsaros, George Hatzinasios, Costas Hatzis, Robert Williams, Alexis Papadimitriou, George Mani...
