Vladimir Ignatiev

Biography

Vladimir Alexandrovich Ignatiev was born on October 28, 1967 in Leningrad. He graduated from high school in 1985. After school, he worked as a mechanic for mechanical assembly works. He enrolled in the 3rd year of the College of Culture in absentia. He served in the army in 1986-87. He worked as a model, fire safety engineer, packer, loader, actor, janitor, stoker. The first publication was in 1994, The Book of Poetry. He was published in the almanacs of St. Petersburg. Ignatiev continues the traditions of the "Oberiutes" (Daniil Kharms, Alexander Vvedensky, Nikolai Oleinikov) in his work.
