Dimitris Kamberidis

Biography

Dimitris Kamperidis (Drama 1946 - 12 September 2010) was a Greek actor. He studied at the Drama School of the National Theatre and Pellos Katselis. While still a student, he participated in performances at the National Theatre and the State Theatre of Northern Greece (NTNG), but also as a dancer in the Choirika group of Zouzou Nikoloudi. He made his professional debut as an actor at the People's Theatre of Manos Katrakis and was a founding member of the core that created the Free Theatre (as a member of the group of graduates of the school in 1970). In the 1980s, together with other members of the Free Theatre, they created the "Amore" theatre and the "Theater of Athens" group.
