Hou Minghao

Biography

Hou Minghao (born in Beijing, China) is a Chinese actor and pop singer. He graduated from the Beijing Contemporary Music Academy.

Hou Minghao began learning the accordion at the age of four and received awards in Beijing music competitions. In 2012, he became a trainee at South Korean entertainment company SM Entertainment, where he trained for one and a half years. He returned to China in 2014 and joined Shang Wenjie Studio as a trainee through Shang Laoban’s Trainee.

On December 12, 2014, Hou debuted as a member of the boy group Fresh Geek Youth, releasing their first album, UP 4 U. The group received the Best New Group Award at the 22nd Eastern Wind and Cloud Music Awards in 2015. Hou l...
