Alice Trueman

Biography

Alice Trueman is an award-winning scriptwriter, filmmaker and editor, and joint-artistic director of Broken Leg Theatre. She is currently working on several projects and is in post-production on her second directorial short film, Jas, with Red Rock Entertainment as Executive Producers, having won the 2016 Red Rock Entertainment Film Competition. Alice’s first short film as a director, Egg, starring Sally Phillips, and supported by Alan Bennett and Ideastap, is currently being screened at film festivals and was first shown as part of the Underwire Festival and London Short Film Festival Official Selection.
