Biography

Konidela Ram Charan Teja (born 27 March, 1985) is an Indian actor, film producer, and entrepreneur who works predominantly in Telugu cinema. The son of actor Chiranjeevi, Charan made his feature-film debut in Puri Jagannadh's action film *Chirutha* (2007), for which he received the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut – South and the Nandi Special Jury Award.

Charan gained recognition with his second film, S. S. Rajamouli's fantasy action epic *Magadheera* (2009). He portrayed the dual roles of the warrior Kala Bhairava and modern-day Harsha, the film became the highest-grossing Telugu film of its time and earned him his first Filmfare Award for Best Actor – Telugu and a Nandi Special Jury Aw...
