Biography

Nisan Dağ is a director. She graduated from Columbia University's MFA Film Program in 2013 as a Fulbright scholar. Her feature debut 'Across The Sea' won awards in important festivals worldwide. She directed the documentary 'Rebel Music: Turkey' for MTV World. Her second feature 'When I'm Done Dying' won several awards including 'Best Director' at Tallinn and 'Best Film' at Santa Barbara. The film is picked up by Magnolia Pictures. Nisan's films are supported by institutions and funds such as Eurimages, Berlinale and Hamburg Film Fund.
