Biography

BALZ RAZ, born September 11, 1943 in Basel, Structural draftsman, lighting technician at the Stadttheater Basel, studied at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin (1967-1970), scripts, night work at the post office, Collaboration on various films, including "TransAtlantique" by Hans-Ulrich Schlumpf, since 1972 Super 8 film diary (meanwhile approx. 24 hours of film material), own films, since 1976 single sets, postcards, since 1982 exhibitions with pictures and objects in Basel and surroundings, 1984/85 anthroposophical study year, co-founder of the "Edition 350" (so far 18 titles, among others by Peter Handke and Antonio Porchia), three books of short stories, readings in Switzerla...
