Biography

Kiran Bhakta Joshi, is an award-winning director, producer, and animation pioneer who began his career at Walt Disney Studios, where he helped bring to life classics such as Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, The Lion King, The Hunchback of Notre Dame, and Atlantis: The Lost Empire. His groundbreaking work on the wildebeest stampede in The Lion King became a benchmark in CG animation. In 2007, Kiran returned to his native Nepal to found Incessant Rain, a world-class animation and VFX company based in Kathmandu.
