Biography

Christos Tsagas (Analipsi, Boeotias, 7 September 1939 - Athens, 17 March 2011) was a Greek actor. He was born on 7 September 1939 in Analipsi, Boeotias. He studied acting at the National Theatre School. He had an important career in the life of Greek theatre and collaborated with the greatest Greek actors: Dimitris Horn, Dimitris Papamichael, Dimitris Myrat, Voula Zoumboulaki, Katina Paxinou, Melina Mercouri, Anna Synodinou, etc. He starred in more than 40 plays. He directed over 40 plays and was a co-founder of the "Palkosenikos" and the Knossos Theater, where he staged selected works of the classical repertoire.
