Smaro (Smaragda) Bola - Veaki (Greek: Σμάρω Βεάκη, 1895 - 1982)

She was the daughter of the actors Apostolos and Ioulia Bola and the second wife of Emilios Veakis. The theatrical family was completed with their three children Mary, Giannis and Dimitris, also actors. She was born in 1895 in Kefalonia and made her first appearance on stage in Cyprus in the play "The Lady of Lyon" with the G. Saramantis troupe. She then collaborated with the troupes of Aikaterini Veroni, Marika Kotopouli and Kyveli. She met her husband and from 1922 she participated in the A. Veakis-Chris Nezer troupe.
