Ian K. Smith

Biography

Ian K. Smith (born July 15, 1969) is an American physician, author, writer, medical correspondent and television host.

He is a former co-host of the Emmy award-winning syndicated daytime talk show, The Doctors. He also served as the medical/diet expert for six seasons on VH1’s highly-rated Celebrity Fit Club. In 2007, he launched the 50 Million Pound Challenge, a national weight loss initiative sponsored by CVS Pharmacy and State Farm, which he created and founded as well as another national health initiative The Makeover Mile.
