Anthony (Tony) Sawyer Horton is commonly known as "America's Trainer" because he is the most well-known and recognizable male personal trainer in the USA. He is a personal trainer, creator of many exercise video series, several books, former stand-up comedian, infomercial actor, and movie actor. He moved from the East Coast to California at a young age, and while trying to break into acting, other actors noticed how fit he was, and hired them to train him, including Tom Petty.
