Biography

After graduating from Shanghai Oriental Middle School in 1973, she worked in a department store in Luwan District, Shanghai, and stood at a counter in a small shop on Huaihai Road. Since both parents were actors, they went to the movie studio to play. Learned the art of recitation with the help of the famous voice actor Qiu Yuefeng, and later starred in the drama "There is a Heat Outside the House" and attracted attention. Zhang Min was recommended to take part in the film "Bashan Night Rain" filmed by Shanghai Film Studio, in which she played a rural girl and was well received.
