Christopher Dane

Biography

Christopher Dane is graduated as an actor from LIPA in 2002 and headed to London with a BA Honours First and the Paul McCartney Award in his pocket.

He honed his skills in Fringe Theatre and landed his first professional theatre job in Phyllida Lloyd’s 2006 award-winning Donmar Warehouse production of MARY STUART. His love for the screen, however, has since then taken his career—both as an actor and as a produced writer—into the British Film Industry, and his CV now includes scores of features and countless short films.

In 2009, his Scandinavian roots added to the impact of his lead role as Aragorn’s father Arathorn in BORN OF HOPE, the independent Lord of the Rings prequel, which has now...
