Olga Malea

Biography

Olga Malea (Athens, 7 November 1960) is a Greek director and screenwriter of the new Greek cinema.

She was born in Athens. She studied Law at the University of Athens and Psychology at Yale University in the USA (1983). From 1985 and for ten years (until 1995) she directed documentaries for Greek and Italian television, as well as educational videos for the Lambrakis Studies Foundation. She "shot" her first video with her classmates at Yale University, at the time she was doing her PhD in Psychology.
