James Ryan is an American musician, composer, producer, arranger, and author known for his music career spanning over six decades.
He is an original member of the iconic 60s band The Critters, with hits Younger Girl, Mr. Dieingly Sad and Don’t Let The Rain Fall Down on Me.
He has collaborated with artists such as Carly Simon, Paul McCartney, Cat Stevens, Elton John, and Rod Stewart.
He has been inducted into the Iowa Rock 'n’ Roll Music Association Hall of Fame receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award.
