When an old manananggal (self-segmenting flying beast) mother suffered from a stroke mid-air, her eldest daughter, Chandra, must reunite her estranged aswang (werebeast) siblings and recover her mother’s missing lower half before the fuchsia moon rises—a rare occurrence that happens once every 50 years and the only night their dying mother can pass on an ancient ritual that promises to free them from their aswang curse and make them fully human.
