With a history of over 320 years, the Yeung Hau Temple in Tai O carries the profound cultural customs of both land and water residents. Among its most significant traditions is the Tai O Dragon Boat Water Parade, which is inscribed on the national list of intangible cultural heritage. Through the Hau Wong Festival, the documentary presents the craftsmanship of bamboo-shed theatre and Cantonese opera performances, bearing witness to the enduring legacy of this intangible heritage and the unwavering perseverance of seven generations of the local community.
