Overview
After losing her parents by the age of 10, Lettie left school to care for her younger siblings – her childhood shaped by hunger and hardship in rural Malawi. Years later, now an educated, working mother, she tells her story, revealing how the promise of a daily meal at school helped her return to the classroom and rebuild her future. Watch Lettie now and discover how daily school meals can be the catalyst for lasting change by breaking down barriers to education, providing a vital social safety net for children and households, and impacting the lives of future generations.
