Kabul's Apples Are Sweet is a short film about a 16-year-old Afghan teenager named Esmaeel who is a refugee living and working illegally on Kish Island in southern Iran. He has been in Iran for two years and looks after camels on a farm. The only way he can communicate with his family in Afghanistan is through the Internet.
